Hey y’all I am so glad that I am back to blogging my life has been CRAZY busy the past few weeks and I apologize for not blogging like I should. I am officially done with summer classes I am proud to say I made all A’s!! It was hard taking three summer classes but I am so happy that I got those finished. I also was planning my sisters baby reveal and working part-time.

I am enjoying my 2 weeks off from school before Fall semester starts. Right now I am in Lexington, KY visiting a family friend, we went to dinner tonight at Grey Goose in downtown Lexington. They have some amazing pizza! I did get some ADORABLE school supplies at Target that I will be sharing with y’all soon.

Now, that I have filled y’all in on whats been going on with me lately I will share some details about this outfit. I actually got this dress last year I think but its so comfortable and conservative. I’ve worn it many times to church and out to dinner. When it starts getting a little colder out I pair it with a blue jean jacket or my brown leather jacket with some riding boots and I’m all set. This dress shape is very popular right now so even if you cant find this exact dress you can find something similar.

Top: J. Crew // Shorts: J. Crew // Shoes: Jack Rogers // Bangles: Bourbon and Boweties via  Ribbon Chix // Watch: Fossil // Earrings: Pearl studs // Necklace: Stella & Dot

When Mr. B and I were in Nashville we went to Opry Mills and they have a J. Crew outlet. Lucky for me J.Crew was having 60% off on most pieces that day. I had to call Mr. B to come help me hold everything I was picking up and I even picked out a few pieces for him as welll.  I honestly racked up since I don’t get to travel to Nashville often. I got 6 complete outfits from J.Crew and Banana Republic for a little over $200. I was really excited about some of the deals I got.

This outfit is the one I am wearing to a BBQ for the 4th of July! These shorts are perfect, normally high waist-ed shorts do not flatter me at all. When I tried these on I didn’t expect to like them but I fell in love. I’ve had these Bourbon and Boweties bangles for a while bought separately but this just goes to show that you can put them together any way you want.

What do ya’ll have planned for the holiday weekend? Please leave me a comment!

Jeans: Gap // Shirt: Old Navy // Scarf: Jane // Shoes: Toms // Bangles: Bourbon and Boweties via Ribbon Chix // Watch: Fossil // Earrings: Pearl Studs

Well since the 4th of July is in three days I thought it would be fun to do a whole blog week for it.

This scarf couldn’t be more perfect for this occasion. I actually ordered it from Jane back in the winter. Yes, I plan some outfits that far in advance but many of the local boutiques carry the flag scarf. This look is very comfortable and easy to achieve. It would be perfect for a BBQ with family over the holiday weekend! A plain white T-shirt is a wardrobe must have for me.

I had to stop and feed the ducks at the park during this photo shoot. I just couldn’t resist!

I have been a fan of fireworks since I was a little girl. I remember going to my aunt and uncles house and shooting off bottle rockets with my cousins. It’s a holiday I look forward to every year.

Romper: Hope’s // Boots: Shoe Sensation // Necklace: ” K Sideways Initial Necklace” by Love Always // Necklace: “On the Mark” by Stella & Dot // Watch: Fossil

It’s Friday!! I am heading to Nashville this weekend for the Katy Perry concert, Mr. B got us tickets awhile back. We are going with a big group of friends and hopefully I can talk him into taking me shopping for a little while Saturday. Opry Mills in Nashville, TN is one of my favorite malls. They have tons of outlet stores J Crew, Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren, and Coach just to name a few. They also have a Forever 21 which is an amazing store for a shopping addict on a budget. Oh, wait that’s me! lol

One of my top favorite online go-to Boutiques is Hope’s. They have beautiful pieces and all the latest trends. I order from them I would say monthly and they always offer FREE shipping, plus you cant beat their affordable prices. This floral romper is from Hope’s I was nervous when I ordered it because I have never bought a romper before. I love rompers but they have never fit me right and this one did! It’s so comfortable and I really like the deep v neck.

My “Sideways Initial Necklace” in the letter K is from Love Always. I love how unique this piece is it isn”t your everyday initial necklace. Love Always has a great selection of monogrammed jewelry and I just ordered another necklace from there. I cant wait to get it in and blog about it!

Can we just take a moment and look at how beautiful these Mallorca Chandelier earrings are by Stella & Dot. They are light weight and very high quality. My “On the Mark” necklace is also by Stella & Dot and was my first piece from them. It was actually a gift from Mr. B for our one year together. I had it on my amazon wishlist for a while and he knew I wanted it so bad. I really like how danity the “On the Mark” necklace is plus its gold. I love anything gold right now! I wear this necklace pretty much all the time and its great for layering.
